Saudi Arabia-based construction technology startup Fitting has raised $1.1 million in its second Seed funding round, securing backing from an undisclosed strategic investor operating in the contracting and real estate development sector. The new investment comes as Saudi Arabia’s construction and development markets continue to expand, creating growing demand for technology that can make complex procurement and supply chain operations more efficient.
Founded in 2025 by Mohammed Al-Mubayed and Abdulaziz Almubayad, Fitting is building a digital platform designed to automate and digitize construction supply chains. Its technology aims to streamline procurement and improve coordination between suppliers, contractors, and real estate developers, addressing one of the industry’s most operationally complex areas.
Digitizing a Fragmented Construction Supply Chain
Construction projects involve a large network of stakeholders, materials, suppliers, contractors, and service providers. As project volumes and complexity increase, managing procurement and coordinating these participants can become increasingly difficult, creating opportunities for delays, inefficiencies, and higher costs.
Fitting is positioning its platform as digital infrastructure for this supply chain. By organizing procurement processes and connecting different stakeholders through technology, the company aims to help construction businesses manage their operations more efficiently while improving coordination across the ecosystem.
For Fitting, the participation of a strategic investor from the contracting and real estate development sector is particularly significant. Beyond providing capital, the investor brings direct industry experience and insight into the operational challenges faced by construction companies and developers—potentially helping the startup ensure its products remain closely aligned with market needs.
Scaling Across Saudi Arabia
Fitting plans to deploy the new capital across several areas of the business, including expanding into key Saudi markets, strengthening its technology infrastructure, and growing its technical and operational capabilities. The company sees digitization as increasingly important as the Kingdom’s construction and real estate sectors continue to expand.
The funding also comes with a broader ambition around Saudi talent development. Fitting plans to create employment and training opportunities for young Saudi professionals as it grows, aligning its expansion with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 around human capital development, innovation, and digital transformation.
For Mohammed Al-Mubayed, the latest round represents more than another financing milestone. It is an opportunity to accelerate Fitting’s effort to build a more connected and digitally enabled construction supply chain in the Kingdom.
As Saudi Arabia continues to invest in construction, infrastructure, and real estate development, the opportunity for companies like Fitting is increasingly clear: modernizing how buildings are supplied may be just as important as modernizing how they are designed and constructed.
