Founded by Taoufik El Jamali, Amine Chouki and Omar Al Shoubaki, the advertising technology startup is expanding into the US and Europe after reporting more than fivefold revenue growth.
A business can spend thousands of dollars advertising on Google, Meta and TikTok, attract potential customers and generate sales. But there is a problem: advertising platforms do not always receive accurate information about which customers actually make a purchase.
When tracking systems fail, browser restrictions block data or offline sales remain disconnected from online campaigns, advertising algorithms lose valuable information. This makes it harder for businesses to understand what is working and where their marketing budgets should go.
San Francisco-headquartered startup Journify is building technology to address this problem. The company has raised $12 million in a Series A funding round at four times its previous valuation, marking another major milestone in its expansion.
The round was led by Al Mada Ventures and co-led by existing investor Silicon Badia. Existing investors Shorooq and Bunat Ventures also increased their investments, while Du Ventures and Oraseya Capital joined as new investors.
Alongside the new investment, Journify reported that its revenue has grown more than fivefold since Silicon Badia’s initial investment.
Building the Infrastructure Behind Better Advertising Decisions
Founded in 2022, Journify was established by Taoufik El Jamali, Amine Chouki and Omar Al Shoubaki. The company operates from San Francisco, with regional offices in Dubai and Riyadh.
Its technology focuses on a part of digital advertising that most consumers rarely see but businesses increasingly depend on: the data that advertising platforms use to make decisions.
Platforms such as Google, Meta, TikTok, Snap and Amazon Ads rely on information about customer behaviour to identify potential buyers and optimise advertising campaigns. This information includes purchases, registrations, leads and other customer actions.
However, businesses often collect this information across different systems. Website activity, mobile applications, customer relationship management software, physical store transactions and backend databases may all operate separately.
Journify connects these sources and helps businesses send more complete and reliable customer information to advertising platforms.
The objective is to ensure that advertising algorithms learn from actual business outcomes rather than incomplete tracking data.
Why Accurate Customer Data Matters More Than Ever
Digital advertising has become increasingly automated. Businesses now rely heavily on artificial intelligence to manage campaign delivery, identify audiences and optimise spending.
According to the Interactive Advertising Bureau’s 2025 Internet Advertising Revenue Report, US digital advertising revenue reached $294.6 billion in 2025, representing 13.9% annual growth.
As advertising budgets grow, the quality of the information behind these campaigns becomes increasingly important.
For example, a customer might discover a product through a Facebook advertisement but complete the purchase through a physical store. If that transaction is never communicated back to the advertising platform, the platform may not recognise the advertisement’s actual contribution to the sale.
This creates a gap between what businesses know about their customers and what advertising algorithms can learn.
Journify’s platform aims to close that gap by connecting online and offline customer interactions, validating conversion events and delivering consented information through server-side integrations.
The company also focuses on maintaining data quality across these connections, helping businesses identify tracking problems before they undermine campaign performance.
More Than 100 Businesses Are Already Using the Platform
Journify’s growth is reflected in its expanding customer base. The company now serves more than 100 businesses, ranging from growing ecommerce brands to established retailers.
Two of its reported customer examples include Saudi Arabia’s Jarir Bookstore and ecommerce brand Baytonia.
According to Journify, Jarir Bookstore achieved a 182% increase in return on advertising spend through Meta after using its platform.
Baytonia, meanwhile, reported an 80% improvement in return on advertising spend through TikTok while reducing its cost per purchase by 44%.
These results illustrate the commercial value of better conversion data. When advertising platforms receive more accurate information about customer purchases, businesses can make more informed decisions about their campaigns.
Together, Journify’s customers represent hundreds of millions of dollars in annual advertising spend, giving the company an opportunity to serve businesses with substantial marketing operations.
AI Is Becoming a Bigger Part of Journify’s Technology
The latest investment will also support the expansion of Journify’s artificial intelligence capabilities.
The company already uses AI to continuously monitor connections between business systems and advertising platforms, identify problems with conversion data and help resolve signal-quality issues.
Its platform also includes AI Insights, which helps businesses explore advertising performance and understand their data.
This is an important part of its longer-term strategy. As marketing becomes more dependent on automated decision-making, businesses need reliable information flowing into the systems managing their advertising budgets.
Journify wants to move beyond simply connecting data sources. Its broader ambition is to build an infrastructure layer that helps businesses understand customer behaviour and provide advertising platforms with the information needed to make better decisions.
CEO and co-founder Taoufik El Jamali believes advertising AI can only become as effective as the customer information it receives. The company’s vision is to turn actual customer outcomes into intelligence that advertising platforms can use to understand what makes a customer valuable to a business.
Investors Back Journify’s Fourfold Valuation Growth
The $12 million Series A brings together a combination of existing and new investors.
Al Mada Ventures led the round, with Silicon Badia returning as co-lead investor. Shorooq and Bunat Ventures increased their investments, while Du Ventures and Oraseya Capital participated as new investors.
For Silicon Badia, the latest investment follows a period of substantial growth. Partner Hossam Shafick said Journify had increased its valuation by more than four times and its revenue by more than five times since the firm’s initial investment.
The round also reflects investor interest in the infrastructure supporting AI-driven advertising. As more marketing decisions are automated, reliable customer data and measurement systems are becoming important components of the digital advertising ecosystem.
The company has also obtained a SOC 2 Type II report and stated its commitment to GDPR compliance, supporting its focus on data security and privacy.
Expanding Beyond the Gulf Into the US and Europe
With the new capital, Journify plans to accelerate its expansion into the United States and European markets while continuing to strengthen its AI capabilities.
The expansion comes after establishing a presence in the Gulf, where its customer base includes major retailers and ecommerce businesses.
The opportunity in the United States is particularly significant. According to the IAB and PwC, the country’s digital advertising industry generated $294.6 billion in revenue during 2025.
However, entering these markets will also bring new competition and the challenge of adapting its technology to different business environments, privacy requirements and customer expectations.
Journify will need to demonstrate that the growth it achieved across the Gulf can translate into success in larger international markets.
For a company founded in 2022, the latest investment represents a significant step in that direction.
With more than 100 businesses already using its platform, revenue growing over fivefold and a valuation reaching four times its previous level, Journify is positioning itself to become a global player in advertising data infrastructure.
Its latest $12 million investment will help take that ambition beyond the Middle East.
