BasharSoft Backs the Future of Professional Networking
US based AI startup BrainsMingle has raised $400,000 in seed funding from BasharSoft Group, marking the human capital technology company’s first strategic investment since its acquisition of iCareer. The investment underscores BasharSoft’s confidence in the future of AI-powered professional networking and its ambition to reshape how professionals learn, connect, and build meaningful careers online.
The fresh capital will enable BrainsMingle to accelerate product development, expand its global reach, and strengthen its vision of creating a unified platform where experts, mentors, organizations, and ambitious professionals can interact through authentic, real-time engagement rather than fragmented digital tools.
Reinventing Professional Networking with AI
Founded in 2024 by Belal Amin and Yousef Gamal, BrainsMingle is building what it describes as an AI-driven, video-first professional networking platform. Unlike traditional professional networks that focus primarily on profiles, content feeds, or messaging, BrainsMingle aims to become a complete ecosystem where experts can monetize their knowledge while professionals can discover mentors, communities, and career opportunities from around the world.
The platform enables experts to host live sessions, schedule appointments, accept payments, build communities, and engage directly with their audiences without relying on multiple disconnected applications. At the same time, professionals can participate in mentorship sessions, join specialized communities, attend networking events, and connect with peers through a single integrated platform.
Rather than becoming another social media platform, BrainsMingle is positioning itself as a digital home for professional growth, where meaningful conversations replace endless scrolling and genuine expertise becomes more accessible.
Solving a Fragmented Professional Experience
The founders believe today’s professional ecosystem is unnecessarily fragmented. Experts often rely on separate tools such as Zoom for meetings, Calendly for scheduling, payment platforms for transactions, LinkedIn for professional visibility, and community platforms like Circle or Skool to engage with members.
This fragmented workflow creates unnecessary complexity for both creators and professionals.
BrainsMingle addresses this challenge by bringing these capabilities together within one AI-powered platform. Instead of switching between multiple services, experts can manage their professional business, build their audience, and interact with their communities through a single interface.
According to Belal Amin, Co-Founder and CEO of BrainsMingle, the company’s mission extends beyond creating another networking application.
“We built BrainsMingle around one belief: the most valuable professional moments happen between people, not between people and content,” he said. “The world does not need another feed to scroll or another profile to maintain. It needs a home where ambitious professionals can share knowledge, connect with others, and build meaningful communities.”
Growing Beyond United States
Although founded only last year, BrainsMingle has already attracted professionals and communities from more than 90 countries, demonstrating strong early interest in its approach to professional networking.
Beyond serving individual experts, the platform is increasingly being adopted by organizations, universities, accelerators, educational institutions, and enterprises looking to create private digital communities for their members. These organizations can build fully branded hubs where employees, students, mentors, and alumni communicate, collaborate, participate in networking events, schedule mentoring sessions, and access educational resources within a single environment.
This enterprise capability significantly expands BrainsMingle’s addressable market beyond individual creators, positioning it as a collaboration platform for institutions seeking to modernize learning, mentorship, and community engagement.
Strategic Backing from BasharSoft
The investment carries strategic significance beyond the funding itself.
BasharSoft Group, one of the MENA region’s leading human capital technology companies, operates platforms including WUZZUF, Forasna, iCareer, and Recruitera, collectively serving more than 9 million users across the region. The investment represents BasharSoft’s first strategic bet since acquiring iCareer and reflects its belief that the future of professional development extends beyond job matching into continuous learning, mentorship, and community building.
Commenting on the investment, Ameer Sherif, Executive Chairman of BasharSoft, said the company identified a growing gap in how professionals share knowledge and build meaningful relationships online.
“For fifteen years, BasharSoft has connected talent to opportunity,” he said. “BrainsMingle has built the technology necessary to replace multiple global tools with a single, sophisticated network that aligns with our mission to empower 50 million people in their careers by 2030.”
The partnership combines BasharSoft’s extensive reach across the region with BrainsMingle’s AI-driven platform, potentially accelerating adoption among professionals, employers, and educational institutions.
Building the Future of Professional Communities
As artificial intelligence continues transforming the future of work, demand is growing for platforms that facilitate collaboration, mentorship, and knowledge sharing rather than simply serving as online directories.
BrainsMingle believes the next generation of professional platforms will focus less on broadcasting content and more on fostering meaningful human interactions supported by intelligent technology. Its AI capabilities are designed to help professionals discover relevant experts, communities, and networking opportunities while enabling organizations to create richer engagement experiences for their members.
With fresh funding, strategic backing from one of the region’s largest HR technology companies, and an expanding global user base spanning more than 90 countries, BrainsMingle is positioning itself to become a new kind of professional network—one where learning, mentorship, community, and collaboration exist under a single digital roof.
As the platform continues to scale, the founders hope it will become the place where professionals around the world don’t simply build careers, but build lasting relationships, exchange knowledge, and create opportunities that shape the next generation of innovation.
